Walking Boots

Walking boots, Air Walkers, and cam boots are designed to provide an alternative to foot casts. Aircast type boots help with severe foot and ankle sprains, stable foot and ankle fractures, post surgical stabilization for tendon and ligament repairs, and soft tissue injuries of the lower leg and achilles tendonitis.

Walking boots with air bladders, often called Air Walkers or Aircasts, help control swelling and provide a more secure and intimate fit. Since applying pressure to help reduce foot pain will affect the anatomy of the lower leg a prescription is required for the purchase of an Air Walker. Air Walkers should be fit by certified and licensed medical professionals.
