The Knee Disarticulation 4 Bar Prosthetic Joint is available with either an internal extension assist or a manual lock.  Both versions are available in titanium or stainless steel.  

The internal extension assist is recommended for knee disarticulation amputees with a moderate activity level.  It has a mechanical adjustment to vary the friction control and extension assist for swing phase control.  

The manual locking version is recommended for knee disarticulation amputees with lower functional capabilities.

Internal Extension Assist:  For patients with a moderate activity level.

Manual Lock:  For patients with a lower functional level.
